Verizon To Support Samsung Pay Through Recent Updates

Samsung Pay

Verizon to launch Samsung Pay by the end of this month
.

Verizon Communications Inc. is all geared up to show its support for the payment service namely Samsung Pay which was released in the United States the previous month. The wireless network carrier is said to be the only company that did not have Samsung’s payment device installed. However the Verizon clients are now getting updates regarding the supports for Samsung Pay’s application. These updates are so far limited to the Samsung Galaxy smartphones as per the Android Central.

The application has not been revealed on Play Store for VZ users as of yet but according to The Verge some individuals have successfully installed the application from Google’s Play Store which is working extremely smoothly. A system update was launched earlier where rival companies like T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T started to offer services for Samsung Pay. So if we believe the rumors then the app will be launched soon for Verizon customers.

Those individuals who download their application need not worry about the bank being supported by Samsung Pay. All they need to do is load the card that supports the service in order to make Samsung Pay work. As of yet the payment service can supports cards by Citi Bank. Bank of America, Synchrony Financial, American Express and US Bank. This update will soon target other banks. The wireless network carrier is expected to make an announcement soon regarding Samsung Pay.

This support for Samsung’s payment service is only offered to expensive smartphones by Samsung that encompasses the Galaxy S6 and Edge, Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge +. So by launching the Samsung Pay, the company is in a good state to compete with competitors like Android Pay, Apple Pay and Google Wallet. The payment services is being operational on a principle that is relatively same but the good things is that they can support credit and debit cards along with magnetic strip cards. So now the Galaxy users can also enjoy the NFC technology along with the conventional magnetic swipe mechanism.

Verizon consumers are expected to use this service when this month ends. So then it will be easy to deduce how many Samsung users benefit from the service along with the potential of this system.

The idea of payment system service is becoming extremely popular amongst the masses thus by coming up with such a service both the carrier along with the smartphone company is a great idea with growth prospects.
